Hetalia is a manga and anime that's created by illustrator Hidekazu Himaruya in which the setting is based during the World War-era. What makes series so unique are the characters who are actually named after their countries and their characteristics that are typically associated with their countrymen (the character Italy likes to eat pasta and pizza, Japan has customs that are considered strange and America likes to stick his nose into other peoples business...)
