Takara PEPSI Convoy This "Pepsi-powered Convoy rolls into action to quench the thirst of all sentient beings!" So says the box. Well, freaky as it sounds, it is indeed a Convoy, and it is a Transformer, and it does transform from a Pepsi Tanker in vehicle mode, into robot mode. You, however, have to provide the Pepsi bottle, cans, or bottle-cap figures (as you like) for it to haul around in vehicle mode. Or be a rebel and put Coke products on it and see Convoy's head explode, you know, whatever. In vehicle mode, Convoy measures about 30cm long. The Pepsi Convoy trailer holds a bottle of Pepsi horizontally or two 350ml cans upright. If you're a hoarder of bottle caps, a whole crop of caps may be tossed onto the back. The package includes a cardboard replica of a Pepsi Twist bottle which is rolled inside and lit upon the trailer. Takara expects to sell 15,000 units of the Pepsi Convoy in the first year but we're guessing repaints next year might help to add to that ambitious number. Price: AU$149.95
